Exchanges, Returns and Refund Policy
We are a slow fashion brand and make your garment only when you place an order. However, we strongly discourage our customers from buying any item where there is doubt. We run smaller than most fast fashion brands. Please double check all product and sizing details. We would be happy to help you out with any queries regarding making your purchase.
Please Note: Colours on screen may vary slightly due to editing, lighting and screen settings. We make our garments with handwoven weaves, handblock prints, and natural materials. It is normal to see some aberrations, weave distortions or dynamic patterns in handblock prints. We believe it makes them unique.
If you’ve checked the fine print and your item is eligible for an exchange or return, follow these five steps to ensure your request is processed without a hitch.
Step 1: Inspect & Act Fast (The 72-Hour Window)
As soon as your package arrives, inspect your items thoroughly. If you find a defect or decide you need a different size, you must email jamunsoda@gmail.com within 72 hours of receipt. If you’ve simply changed your mind and want a refund to your original payment method, you must reach out within 12 hours of placing the order (provided it isn't an Express order).
Step 2: Get Written Approval
Wait for a response from our team. Do not send your item back yet. Jamun Soda reserves the right to refuse any parcels sent without prior written approval. We will evaluate your request based on stock availability and policy compliance (ensuring it wasn't a Rush order, Final Sale, or custom-sized item).
Step 3: Pack with Care (Include the Extras)
Once approved, ensure the item is in its original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact. If your order came with a free gift, you must include it in the return box. If the gift is missing, the cost will be deducted from your final credit or refund.
Step 4: Ship via Traceable Courier
You have 72 hours after approval to ship the item back to us.

Step 5: Receive Your Credit or Exchange
Once your return reaches our warehouse and passes inspection:

For Exchanges: We will process your new size/color and send you a new tracking number as soon as it's dispatched.

For Different Styles: We will issue your store credit, which you can then use to place a fresh order for any new style on our website.

General Returns & Exchanges
1. How long do I have to request a return or exchange?
All requests must be raised within 72 hours (3 days) of receiving your package.
2. Can I exchange an item for a different size?
Yes, we accommodate exchanges for the same style in a different size only.
3. Does the size exchange policy apply to custom orders?
No. Custom sizing is not eligible for size exchanges.
4. Can I exchange my item for a different color?
A different color may only be chosen if your original color selection is sold out.
5. How do I exchange my item for a completely different style?
To get a different style, you must return your original item for store credit and place a brand-new order online for the desired item. Store credit will not expire.
6. How many times can I exchange an item?
A maximum of one exchange per item is allowed.
Condition & Quality Standards
7. What condition must the items be in?
Items must be new, unused, and unworn, with all original packaging and tags attached. We cannot accept returns on clothing that has been used.
8. Can I return an item used for a photoshoot/sourcing?
No. We strictly do not accept returns for items worn for press, styling purposes, or photoshoots.
9. What if my item doesn't have a tag?
If your item is sent back without a tag, it is ineligible for return.
10. Do I need to return the free gifts included with my purchase?
Yes. To receive a full refund/credit, all additional gifts must be returned. If they are missing, the cost of the gift will be deducted from your total.
Cancellations & Defects
11. Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?
Yes, but only if you contact us within 12 hours of placing the order.
12. Does the 24-hour cancellation window apply to Express orders?
No. The "change of mind" refund is not applicable for Express/Rush orders.
13. What should I do if my item arrives damaged or defective?
Inspect your order immediately. Contact us at jamunsoda@gmail.com within 3 days so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Scroll down for a detailed process.
14. What happens if I receive the wrong product?

Shipping & International Orders
15. Does Jamun Soda provide return shipping labels?
No. We do not provide shipping labels. Customers are responsible for covering all return shipping costs.
16. Are international returns handled differently?
International customers must also cover all return shipping costs for refunds or exchanges.
17. Who is responsible for lost or stolen return packages?
Jamun Soda is not responsible for lost or stolen packages during the return transit. Customers must use a reliable courier with a traceable link for all returns.
18. What courier should I use for my return?
You must use a traceable courier partner. Once an exchange is approved, you must ship it within 72 hours or the request will be voided.
19. Who pays for the shipping of the new exchanged item?
The customer will be charged for shipping fees on exchanged items for both domestic and international orders.
Restrictions & Refusals
20. What is the policy for "Rush Orders"?
We do not accept any returns on Rush orders (Express Shipping or specially expedited requests).
21. Can I return "Final Sale" items?
No. Items marked as final sale are not eligible for return or exchange.
22. When will my exchange be processed?
Exchanges are only processed after we have received and inspected your returned item.
23. What happens if I refuse my delivery?
Refused packages or those deemed undeliverable by the transporter are non-refundable.
24. What if my package is "Returned to Sender"?
The order will go back to our warehouse. We will attempt delivery twice before its sent back. If you still wish to receive the package, you must pay for a new shipping label.
25. Can Jamun Soda refuse a return for other reasons?
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet our requirements or is sent back without written approval.

Damaged or Missing Items Policy
If you receive a damaged item or find items missing, it is essential to notify us within 72 hours of receiving your package. Please follow these steps to ensure a smooth resolution:
Notification: Email us at jamunsoda@gmail.com within 72 hours of receiving the package. In your email, include your order number, a brief description of the damage, and the date the package was received.
Video: For our records and to facilitate the investigation, please share a video of the package received and unsealed. The video should clearly capture:
- The condition of the package upon arrival (sealed)
- Footage of unsealing/unboxing: It is important for us to see the unsealing of package to determine the condition and number of garments at the time the package is opened. This is crucial in determining whether the reported damages were present upon receipt or if they occurred after delivery and opening. This will also help us identify any stolen or missing items.
- A close-up of the damaged area.
Additional Proof: In addition to the video, please include clear photographs of the damaged item and the packaging, particularly any external damage to the box.
Retain Packaging: Keep all packaging materials and the damaged item until the investigation is complete. We may request further evidence or ask for the item to be returned for inspection.
Notifications made beyond 72 hours of receiving the package and without an unboxing video will not be accepted. Claims lacking sufficient proof at delivery will result in the claim being denied.
